Bezpłodność i niepłodność - czym się różnią

Infertility is a real drama especially for people who strive to become a family as soon as possible. Infertility can occur in both men and women. Sometimes it happens that, despite the efforts of both partners, they cannot become happy parents.

Infertility or sterility?

Infertility and sterility cannot be interchangeable terms because each of them means something completely different.
Infertility means the permanent inability to conceive a child. It affects both women and men. The disturbing fact is that today there are 2.5 million women and men suffering from infertility in Poland. This is way too much. However, WHO sterility is a reversible inability to conceive a child. S0terility is said when after 12 months of trying for a child, there is still no fertilization. In this case, it is likely that you will become pregnant and report it through various methods of trying.

Female infertility causes

There are many causes of female infertility. The most common causes are: hormonal disorders, fallopian tube obstruction (about 35%) and endometriosis. Fallopian tube obstruction is when there is infection by sexually transmitted germs. They are responsible for causing diseases such as chlamydia and gonorrhea. In turn, hormonal disorders may be the result of improper diet, alcohol abuse, thyroid disease, excessive physical exertion or disorders of the pituitary gland and adrenal cortex. Hormonal disorders are usually associated with abnormal ovulation or anovulation. Endometriosis is that part of the uterine mucosa during menstruation nests in the walls of the abdomen or other organs. When the endometrium is deposited in the fallopian tubes or ovaries, the chances of pregnancy are drastically reduced.

Male infertility causes

In the case of men, the causes of infertility should be seen when there is an infection with bacteria that cause blockage of sperm mouths. Prostate and genital infections are also dangerous. Further causes of infertility may include: the passage of infectious diseases during puberty, such as mumps, premature ejaculation, impotence, long-term use of psychoactive substances such as drugs (they reduce the amount of sperm by up to 50%), prolonged temperature increase in the scrotum caused by, for example, many hours of driving by car or by doing some work, losing testicles due to surgery or accident.

Do not waste time!

These are just some of the causes of male and female infertility, and there may be more. However, it should be noted that each person is different and should be approached individually. That is why it is worth to go to the doctor when applying for a child does not give the desired effect. Every day counts here. The sooner we start to heal in the event of infertility, the sooner we can wait for the baby in the world.

Can you support yourself with supplementation?

Yes of course! Deficiencies of any ingredient can result in a whole avalanche of negative consequences. Sometimes supplementing the needed vitamin can cause the body to cope with its own problems.

For example, natural vitamin C is an elixir that can rejuvenate old and weak sperm. Research shows that its deficiency can cause testicular changes that contribute to infertility. In some men, natural preparations with vitamin C will affect sperm quality, in others coenzyme Q10 will help.

And in women, arginine supplementation may help with embryo implantation problems.
It is very important to choose the right natural preparations under the watchful eye of a Revitum specialist who will assess what is most important in our case. Don't take supplements blindly.
